Hey, I guess this is my first blog that no one will read. Yeah me!
Joshua Tree National Park is a place that is really special for me. I frequent the National Park several times a year for different things. Lately it’s been as a tourist and photographer which is much different than as a rock climber. Below you’ll find some of my images from my last trip.
My main goal on this trip was to get some AstroPhography images. I have tried before to take these, but this trip marks my first real success. I also wanted to see the Vulture mine.
My first night started at the Cholla Gardens and then the Arch. The Arch was an interesting experience. It was packed with other photographers and there were some members of that crowd were just downright hostile. I am not sure if it’s worth going back for another round. There are many other better place in the park where you don’t almost get into an altercation.
My second night was spent wondering around the Skull Rock area with a not so hostile crowd.
I want to return and take photos of some Joshua Trees this time and maybe do some light painting and composites to make a few #FakePhotos.
