I don’t know. There isn’t really much to say about me. I am just an Average Joe with a camera, nothing special. I like to combine my personal outdoor enthusiasm with my photography. I enjoy activities like backpacking, day hiking (defined by 10+ miles in a day), Rock Climbing, and the occasional Canyoneering.
While I might not “chase” the light, stalk the perfect setting for the perfect photo, I enjoy what I do. Many “Photographers” will call me a “Snapshooter”, and I am fine with that. I do this for fun and as a hobby. I have no intentions of ever selling my “Snapshots.”
I also do studio photography. I mainly specialize in portraits and head shots. I like the Low Key with deep shadows that brings out emotion.
I have been branching out and doing more location shoots lately, especially in the desert.
Within this site, you’ll find a journal of my trips, experiences, and favorite shots.
My favorite places to visit are the Grand Canyon National Park, Joshua Tree National Park, Weminuche Wilderness Area, Superstition Mountains, and many other wonderful places.
Since I do this for fun, if you have a theme or photography shoot in mind, let me know. I am cheap, so if it’s interesting, I’ll probably be down! I know there are better photographers out there, and I know there are worse. Since Photography isn’t my main source of income, I am cheap, very cheap.
I also am different from other photographers. I have no problem delivering the RAW images straight out of my camera. When you hire me as your Photographer, it’s not my art that’s being created, it’s our art.
