Grand Canyon Storm

Grand Rainbow

While backpacking in the Grand Canyon we were blessed by the right weather conditions. It had been drizzling on us all day and we had a break in the clouds. As the break passed over us, it started drizzling on us again, but it produced an amazing rainbow.

Grand Rapids

This is one of my more favorite shots in the Grand Canyon. Usually the Colorado River is pretty "muddy", but this trip, it was crystal clear. We were able to filter our drinking water right from the river without letting the sediments settle. This is a long exposure of Hance Rapids.
